Our Mission
** Here at the Resource Centre we suggest $1/per person per program. This includes Parents, Grandparents, Caregivers, ALL Children (even babies)
**Those who frequent the programs are given the monthly option of $30 / mth.
RISE
Resilience, Inspiration, Support & Empowerment
This program is focused on parents who have children from newborn to age 7.
Time will be spent Belonging and Engaging as parents; topics will include:
- Building resilience as a part of maintaining and protecting mental health.
- Being inspired is the process of being mentally stimulated to do or feel something.
- Being supported with our parenting choices and the challenges of parenting.
for our children and our families.
- Being empowered to understand that people are equal citizens. & that They are respected and confident in their communities.
- Crafts, Guest Speakers & an exciting time of just being parents.
Parents are in a classroom for their program just down the hallway from the playroom while their children are in the playroom with the Childcare staff & volunteers. The children will play, have a circle time, snack & have time in the gym.

CommunityDrop-In
Monday & Friday mornings 9:15 - 11:15 am
Parents/caregivers & children playtime together in our gym and playroom.
Please bring peanut-free snacks and water bottle.
There are also some PD Day Drop-in days (indicated on monthly calendar)
There is a circle time around 10:15 for the children.

Ladies Bible Study
This group is an interactive women's Bible study group. The group focuses on sharing life experiences as women and how they relate to Biblical principles. There is also a time for coffee and conversation.
Play Safe,Be Safe
Ages 4-6 yrs (August only)
It will be held in August for 3 days@ 9:30-11:30. This Program is designed to teach fire safety basics Our Registered Early Childhood Educator will present videos, games & activities all related to fire & fire Safety. There are take home sheets & activities that involve the whole family. At the end of the program, we have a Firefighter/Fire Trucks attend the program and they test the children to see if they have learned the Rules of Fire Safety. They sometimes bring Fire equipment for the children to try on.
There must be an adult responsible for each child on site during the program - 2 hrs.
